(MPIF), the corporate social responsibility arm of Metro Pacific Investments Corporation (MPIC), officially inaugurated the newly renovated Mangrove Propagation and Information Center (MPIC) in Cordova, Cebu. This milestone event was held under MPIF’s environmental flagship program, Shore It Up!, and was graced by local government officials and community partners.

Tulong Kapatid, the corporate social responsibility alliance of foundations under the MVP Group of Companies, led by its Chairman Manuel V. Pangilinan, recently signed a Memorandum of Agreement with the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD). As the MVP Group’s unified CSR arm, Tulong Kapatid brings together the philanthropic efforts of its member foundations to deliver a collective and coordinated impact. With a shared goal of making a broader difference in the lives of Filipinos, DSWD and Tulong Kapatid will work hand in hand to expand the reach of vital social services across the country.

In a demonstration of solidarity and compassion, Metro Pacific Investments Foundation (MPIF) and Tulong Kapatid, the CSR alliance of foundations and companies under the MVP Group of Companies, have united their efforts to provide aid to the regions devastated by Typhoon Egay. The collaborative initiative encompasses a comprehensive medical mission and relief distribution, targeting communities in Ilocos Norte, Cagayan, Bulacan, Pampanga, Ilocos Sur, and Bataan.

Over the past 15 years, SIU spread its wings in 12 locations, mobilizing some 87,000 volunteers, 2,600 runners and 1,034 scuba divers, and has reached out to 464 organizations and local government units, 180 families, and 2,800 school children under the Junior Environmental Scouts.
